Wildflower Walks with Billy Tea
For larger groups we offer the same wildflower walk with Billy Tea around the camp fire.
Or for just a more casual and rustic feel.
Arriving by 1.30 we do a quick clean of shoes to prevent the spread of disease. Walking to the bushland that is looking most interesting on the day. As we go hear a bit about the farm and the area.
We wander through Wandoo/Marri woodland to find a wide variety of flowering plants, from the showy Dryandras to tiny Stylidiums. Plenty of time to photograph, ask questions, or just soak up the lovely atmosphere of Carrah. Listen to the birds and the lack of human noise.
The bushland ecosystem is a delicate balance which has evolved over thousands of years. Appreciate all the many aspects of our woodland. Carnaby Black Cockatoos breed in our bushland and can often be heard calling.
Back to the camp fire for loose leaf teas and plunger coffee, home baked cakes and slices, both savoury and sweet.
For your club outing, work function or some friends and family.
